Bob Wilson is the founder of Industrial Andons, LLC. With extensive experience across automotive, high-tech, and manufacturing environments, Bob has held roles ranging from production team member to Plant Manager. He worked at Toyota and Ford’s world-class facilities, where he earned certifications as a Quality Circle Leader Instructor and Practical Problem Solving Instructor at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Kentucky. He is also a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds an MBA from the University of Florida.

Bob has led numerous kaizen events on the shop floor, in engineering, and in transactional processes. He is also the co-author of the book First Fire The Consultants.

Having witnessed both the benefits and challenges of implementing lean principles firsthand, Bob recognized the need for a simpler, more effective andon system. Traditional systems were often complicated, time-consuming, and expensive to install and maintain. This led him to develop Industrial Andons’ patented wireless, flexible, and modular andon solution.
