Resource Control System

With our new andon system you can add the Resource Control System which provides the hardware and software to fully utilize your andon system.  All system transmissions are automatically input into the database.  From there, not only are transmissions logged, but you can automatically send out email alerts (to computers, pagers, blackberries).

For example, if your maintenance team members have pagers, they can be paged whenever a red light is turned on (They no longer have to be in ear shot of the system).

You can use one of the additional inputs available and put a limit switch in a flow rack and expand your andon system into a electronic kanban system.  You can even email your supplier that you need to order more parts!

The Basic Wireless Andon System is made up of two components.  The Plant Signal Unit which is the “receiver” of signals from the Floor Signal Stations.  The Plant Signal Unit matches the aggregate of all Floor Signal Station lights and contains the audible alert (melodoy) for the system.  The Floor Signal Stations are placed on the line and are the “transmitters” of signals to the Plant Signal Unit.  Up to 15 Floor Signal Stations can talk to one Plant Signal Unit.  After attaching the Floor Signal Stations to either a 1/2” pipe nipple or their optional tripods and hanging the Plant Signal Unit, simply train your workforce, plug-in, place and watch the efficiency of your production line soar!!!
